The challenge was to develop a plant technology that would enable us to convert residual materials into valuable substances and at the same time make an active contribution to climate protection. After intensive research and development, our Carbo-CAP-TEC process is now ready for use. It uses the energy present in organic materials to permanently bind CO2 in high-quality biochar, thus generating a lucrative and multidimensional valuable material.

Carbon is the basis of all organic substances. If they are simply burned or left to rot, the unstable carbon is converted back into CO2 and released into the atmosphere. If, on the other hand, organic residues are converted into biochar, stable carbon is obtained that can be stored for more than 1,000 years without degradation and can be used in a wide range of inovative applications.

Biochar can be obtained from almost all organic residues. This conversion of residual materials into recyclable materials makes a valuable contribution to a fully functioning circular economy.
